Fun things to do in Santa Eulalia this summer

Santa Eulalia is a popular resort which is open year-round for both summer, and winter tourism.

It’s a great location to visit if you want to experience a more relaxing time here.

The third largest town on the island is a huge-hit with people of all ages, and especially popular for families.

With a range of places to visit and different activities available, you’ll never be short of things to do on this part of the island.

Here’s some of our favourites:

The Beach

With a 300 meter stretch of sand, you’re sure to find the perfect spot to lay your towel and relax in the sunshine. The crystalline waters are extremely inviting, perfect for an afternoon dip to cool down. There’s also a long promenade with various bars, eateries and shops to explore too.

The Restaurants

The town is famous for its number of excellent quality eateries, especially in Calle San Jaime. Also known as ‘restaurant street‘, with a wide variety of exceptional places to eat.

Offering an array of world-cuisines, you’ll definitely find something to tickle your fancy here.

From French, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai and of course, Spanish. Amongst many others!

The Bars

Santa Eulalia may not have the ‘crazy’ nightlife like some other parts of the island, but it’s definitely thriving none-the-less. Not as hectic, yet still full of beans

The bars here generally attract a slightly older crowd, and also welcome families with young children. Great if you want to enjoy an evening out all together in a calmer environment.

From karaoke to traditional Spanish, upmarket to pocket friendly. There will always be somewhere fun to keep you entertained.

The Shops

There’s lots of lovely little markets and shops in the area. Many selling local, artisan products such as clothing, soaps, bags, jewellery and food. You’ll be able to find a unique gift for a loved one, or a treat for yourself to cherish.

There’s even art galleries to wander around if you’re a culture vulture!

Sightseeing

The town is traditionally Ibicencan, with pretty whitewashed buildings and a fortified church on the hill, named Puig de Missa. If you take the walk up to the top then you’ll also be greeted with beautiful, panoramic views of the coast. Along with the rolling countryside scenery, and that unmistakable Ibizan scent of pine needles.

Water Sports

If you’re a fan of the sea then there’s plenty of water activities to experience. From jet skiing to paddle boarding, kayaking to E-Foiling. Adrenaline fuelled or laid-back and relaxed, which will you choose?

Club Náutico

Hotels

Due to the area being a sought-after tourist destination, there’s many hotels which cater to your every whim. From low cost to high-end luxury. Family-friendly to adults-only. Not only is Santa Eulalia a nice place to visit for a day or evening it’s also the perfect place to stay too.
