Summer has arrived, we can feel it. Not just from the Ibizan sun rays warming our skin but the energy on the island is all of a sudden feeling a bit more electric. Parties are confirmed, line ups are being finalised, in fact we can almost taste the anticipation from lubbers around the world planning to hit the island for the big opening week.
Here at Ibiza Disco Ticket we’ve created a little guide to what is going on during the week that will catapult the island into 2015. This schedule will test even the most professional lubbers to the limit, so fasten those raving boots and let’s party!
Sankeys – Wednesday 20 May (Part 1) and Thursday 21 May (Part 2)
Sankeys opening party Awaken will certainly be awakening that little Ibiza fire in our bellies that has been left dormant all winter. Look forward to big name DJs and Sankeys regulars including Adam Beyer, Ida Engberg, Second City and Noir for part one and the likes of Steve Lawler, Amine Edge & Dance, Greg Vickers and more for part two. The sound system of this club will blow your mind. IMS – Thursday 21 May and Friday 22 May
A place where all the important music heads come together and talk about their passion and celebrate another year of quality electronic music takes place at the Hard Rock Hotel but the parties you can go to will take place at the Dalt Villa in Ibiza Old Town.
Day one, the likes of Solomun, Pete Tong, Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons, Luciano and Sven Vath will play against the backdrop of the beautiful Ibiza castle. Party goers will be treated to live performances from Rudimental, ZHU and Thalab (Live) as well as MK on Day 2.
Last summer IMS was one of the highlights of the season and is truly a unique experience in Ibiza away from the clubs and beach parties a plenty throughout the season. The IMS parties take place just once a season and they kick everything off good and proper!

Ocean Beach Ibiza opening party – Friday 22 May
The glam squad will be out in force at this swanky San Antonio hot spot. Enjoy the cooler than cool pool, sun beds and funky beats played by Jason Bye, Adam Baxter, Tom Crane and more. Ocean Beach is a great day time party venue serving drinks and food as well as offering a slick VIP service to it clients. Tickets available here.
DC10 – Monday 25 May
DC10 Ibiza is the islands most notorious underground clubbing venue. Circo Loco will open DC10 so be prepared to leave your inhibitions at the door and dance from late afternoon until the following day at this party extravaganza listening to some of the island’s biggest DJs including Matthias Tanzmann, Davide Squillace, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Tania Vulcano and many more. This legendary joint is a non stop party from start to finish. Expect big crowds, a cooler than cool vibe and the odd fancy-dressed frolicker in one of the two inside rooms or the outside garden. Zoo opening party – Wednesday 27 May
The island’s party people all head to the old abandon zoo in San Antonio dressed up in animal fancy dress to party from day to night. There is nothing quite like this party. The music is quality electronic house and techno, with DJs spinning in four arenas of the venue. You will be treated to live performances from acrobatic animals prancing around in front of the DJ booth based in the seal pit of the abandoned zoo. Release your inner animal! Tickets here.
Amnesia Opening Party – Saturday 30 May
Super club Amnesia has gone all out again because this line up is eye wateringly good! Maceo Plex, Apollonia, Betoko, Eats Everything, George Fitzgerald, Guy Gerber, Hot Since 82, Mar-T and Richy Ahmed are all booked and no doubt raring to go. The craziness does not stop at this club opening its doors from 11pm and not closing until well into the following afternoon. Expect the unexpected and a wide eyed crowd stomping along to the oh so sweet music. If only the walls of this building could talk because we know there’d be some sordid secrets to tell. Space grand opening – Sunday 31 May
It’s legendary, it’s spectacular, it opens the season, albeit a little later than usual. The most famous opening party on the island is announced for 31 May 2015. #SpaceOpeningFiesta is the ritual that initiates a frantic summer of great music, great nights and memories. For the occasion Space Ibiza will set up its huge outdoor stage plus 5 areas that will work at full capacity. The party will begin at 4:30pm with the opening of the outdoor stage, and will run for 20 hours in iconic areas such as the Main Room, Terraza, Sunset Area, Salón and Premiere Etage.
