Sober in Ibiza – It’s more fun than you think!

Sober in Ibiza

There’s a misconception that Ibiza is only for those that like to partake in drinking and substances.

While it’s a given for many who visit the island each year, it isn’t something for everyone.

Remember that Ibiza is a home to many, all year round. It doesn’t just consist of summer inhabitants, contrary to popular (and strange) belief.

Many of its life-long residents enjoy everything the island has to offer, sober!

In this blog we’ve written a list of things you can do here, teetotal, and still have a fantastic time.

To the beach!

Drinking in the sunshine doesn’t agree with many. A mix of the heat and the alcohol tends to send a lot of people wayward, or just to sleep. You want to make the most of your time here right? So grab a beach blanket, a cool box and head off to one of the islands stunning beaches. Soak up that gorgeous sunshine for the afternoon and relax! There’s plenty of amazing spots to choose from. Cala Xarraca (great for snorkelling), Cala Saladeta, Ses SalinesBenirrás (sunset drumming most nights), Talamanca and many more. If you’re still after a party vibe then Playa d’en Bossa‘s ‘Bora Bora‘ part of the beach is always good shout.

Laze around on-deck soaking up those rays, try some paddle boarding, snorkelling and swimming. You can even hop off for lunch at one of the two islands many highly-recommended beachside restaurants. It’s the perfect way to do something memorable whilst you’re here. You can even book a sunset cruise which is truly magical. Hit the clubs!

There is no law you say you can’t enjoy the famous night clubs, just like everyone else. If you truly love your music, then you don’t really need anything else to help you along the way. Just enjoy the atmosphere and sounds from your favourite DJs and producers, in the clubbing capital of the world. One of the positives about doing Ibiza sober is the money you save. With drinks costing around 20€ for a spirit and a mixer in the main clubs, it’s not the cheapest of nights out if you like an alcoholic beverage. One of the other benefits, is swerving the almighty hangover the next morning. It’s a no brainer! What are you waiting for? Grab your tickets today!
