International Music Summit 2019 Lands in Ibiza!

International Music Summit (IMS) Ibiza, the platform on which music enthusiasts and intellects unite will launch it’s 12thedition on the island on Tuesday 21st May! This year’s project is curated in partnership with shesaid.so, the leading global network of women in the music industry, and the program will focus on mental health, diversity and examining club culture with the aim of long term change.

The summit will kick off with two debates, in the first – IMS AND ARETÉ PRESENT MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS DEBATE – twenty leading industry voices including artists, managers, doctors and health care experts will discuss mental health challenges and what can be done to safeguard all those working within the industry. Artists Luciano, Madame Ghandi, Pete Tong and Professor Green will join father of Avicii and founder of the Tim Bergling Foundation Klas Bergling to talk about finding find real solutions to this growing issue.

The second – RESIDENT ADVISOR & IMS PRESENT… IS CLUB CULTURE HEADED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION? – will see fourteen of the most important names in electronic music will come together to discuss the current state of club cultural affairs.

As well as topical debate and discussion, IMS will return to the 2,500 year old UNESCO World Heritage Site of Dalt Vila to broadcast live on Nicole Moudaber’s ‘In The MOOD’ radio show, featuring some of the world’s leading house and techno artists including Luciano, Joseph Capriati, Adam Beyer plus a closing set from Charlotte De Witte and an exclusive after-party at Heart Ibiza featuring Dalt Vila artists.

Special live stream events will happen across the week, with DJ Magazine UK hosting a DJ set from Anja Schneider and DJ Magazine Spain live streaming performances from Anastascia, Henry Saiz & Band and Maxine.

And not to mention the Grand Finale – on Friday 24th May you can catch the closing celebration with the likes of Charlotte De Witte, Adam Beyer, Ida Enberg, Joseph Capriati & Peter Tong during a seven-hour closing bonanza in the beautiful Old Town. IMS – here we go!
