The 5 best steak restaurants on Ibiza -2023

What meat eater doesn’t love a good steak?

From a chunky porterhouse to prime ribeye.

Whether you have it served with the classic peppercorn sauce, or with chimichurri and chunky chips.

If you fancy a steak night on the island, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised to know that there’s a worthy-selection of eateries here to choose from.

Here’s our top 5!

Can Pilot

Can Pilot is located along the road that leads from Ibiza Town to San Antonio, in the small village of San Rafael. A very popular dining spot for travellers and locals, and famous for their excellent steaks. It’s a place you need a reservation for, as it’s always super busy. A buzzing atmosphere with really fair prices, considering the quality of food served here. Their menu is varied, offering a great choice for carnivores from far and wide.

Cami de Balafia

Set in the stunning area of San Lorenzo towards the north, you’ll find this absolute gem. ‘Balafia is one of the top places to dine at on Ibiza. Known for its excellent service and relaxed vibe. It’s an authentic and traditional Ibicenco restaurant, with an abundance of natural charm. The perfect place to spend a chilled evening with friends. Their sirloin steak is a huge hit with visitors, perfect to enjoy in their garden restaurant under the stars.

Can Caus

One of our favourite parts of Ibiza is Santa Gertrudis. A simply stunning little village at the heart of the island. It’s also home to Can Caus, a wonderful restaurant serving outstanding cuts of meat, with a wide variety to enjoy. From Ox rib to Abanico (Iberian pork steak). There’s plenty on the menu for non-meat eaters too, in case your fellow diners fancy something else. They also have an extensive wine list, so you’ll always find the perfect accompaniment to every dish.

Donde Marian Y Miguel

The seaside town of Es Caná is where you’ll be able to reserve a table at this little beauty. The quality of food here is sublime, and well worth a visit. Their T-bone steaks are matured in dry-ageing fridges on the premises. Really taking pride in their knowledge of all things ‘meaty’. Their menu oozes tenderness and flavour, with dishes such as Angus black and Simmental entrecôte, matured for a minimum of 21 days. It doesn’t matter where you’re staying on the island, you need to check this out.

Visions

San Antonio Bay is actually home to some pretty good places to eat. Located at the south west of the island, and a hotspot for tourists in the summer months. The basic location of this restaurant is deceiving, as the food packs a serious punch. It’s hard to get a seat at Visions during the season, with people booking well in advance for a table. Locals love it, and this draws the attention of passing diners, wondering what all the fuss is about. Good quality food and very reasonable prices. You can even watch it being prepared, which is always a plus isn’t it?
