When you hear the name Sven Väth you think of a 5000+ strong crowd, heading to the worlds biggest clubs, to listen to some of the best electronic sounds on the planet.
The head-honcho of record label Cocoon Records is an established name within the industry, unsurprising seeing as his career spans back an impressive 30 years.
Väth is is one of Germany’s most prominent, and internationally recognised DJs & producers.
He’s played at some of the biggest and best parties in the world, including island-favourite Amnesia, the world-famous Love Parade and the legendary Tresor club in Berlin.
This Thursday, the three-time DJ Awards winner will be gracing the decks somewhere totally different to his expected establishments.
Not only will it be his first time playing here, it will also be a night that will live on in the venues history.
Coupled with its rich, colourful (and infamous) past, the notorious party-spot will once again be breaking barriers. Something which they have been known to do since the early days.
The iconic Pikes Hotel in San Antonio needs no introduction. It has accommodated some of the biggest stars on the planet, over its 44 year history. It’s truly an institution, and they’re now adding ‘Papa Sven‘ to their list. Simply amazing!
This is no doubt going to be a road block, and one for the Ibiza memory bank.
The venue of choice is a much-welcomed surprise too for this event. Further adding to the excitement for his debut this week.
Supporting him will be fellow German DJ Maurizio Schmitz , plus former Zoo Project resident Milou.
Pretty Special we think.
