One More Time Ibiza – An Iconic Era Revived

One More Time Ibiza – An Iconic Era Revived

With the drop of one of the biggest ‘new’ parties to date last year (Kevin and Perry), it’s no wonder that the guys behind One More Time Ibiza (Nick Ferguson and Dexter Jones) continue to keep it moving.

The two huge events in June and September were held at Amnesia in San Rafael, the very same club featured in the hit film in 2000. And saw ravers (new and older) come together for a night of pure, unadulterated, musical bliss.

It was reminiscent of the Cream days from 1994-2018. With a substantial (and consecutive) 23 of those years being held at Amnesia.

It was an institution for trance lovers around the world

After such an immense ‘two and a bit’ decades, Cream (the former Liverpool brand) called it a day. Much to the dismay of thousands upon thousands of loyal fans globally.

But the excitement of dancing all night to the unforgettable tunes of yesteryear weren’t over yet.

In September 2022, One More Time (known for its groundbreaking, ‘one-off’ parties on the island), hosted a night at Eden in San Antonio.

With some recognisable names in the trance, and old skool house-music industry playing on the night.

Mauro Picotto (Lizard 2000), Tall Paul and Vicky Devine were just three of those names, providing those epic sounds to the awaiting (and very eager) masses.

Following on from such a whirlwind of events, this year saw Nick ( ex Cream promoter) and Dexter bag an 8-week residency at the famous club on the south-west of the island.

Ibiza – The clubbing capital of the world

This summer has so far seen six, huge One More Time nights at Eden, with only two more to go.

We’ve witnessed even more mesmerising sets from some truly iconic artists during this time. From Lange (Follow Me), to Signum and Seb Fonatine, amongst many others.

What’s more, Vicky Devine has been the resident DJ throughout.

Vicky is no stranger to playing at Eden (Judgement Sundays), or any other club for that matter. In fact, we think that with 23 years of playing and living on the island, she has rightfully earned her place centre stage, ten-fold.

Tonight she’s back in the booth celebrating not just another remarkable night, but it’s also her 50th birthday.

Headlining will be non-other than one of the founding-fathers of the Ibiza-to-UK trance-movement, Paul Oakenfold.

Along with another favourite household name on the island, Jason Bye.

A magical step back in time

Bye will be playing from 00.00-01.30, with Oakenfold taking over into an extended mix, from 01.30-04.00. Followed by Vicky from 04.00-06.00.

Thinking back to her debut at Kevin and Perry in June last year, Vicky completely tore the roof off with her closing set at Amnesia!

So we have no-doubt, that tonight at Eden will be nothing short of amazing.

This will be the penultimate instalment before Paul Van Dyk takes over Eden on Thursdays, from the 6th July.

The 29th June will be a closing party to remember. with Dave Pearce (Radio 1 & now 2), Sean Tyas, Alex Ellenger and of course, Vicky Devine – all bringing the energy, ‘One More Time‘.

Not to be missed

If you’re on the island today (or next week) then you cannot miss out on this experience.

Living up to their name, they won’t be stopping any time soon either.

The party-starting duo also have some other exciting events lined up this summer.

With MeganiteOur House (TBC) and of course, the big one on September 26th – Kevin and Perry back at Amnesia.
