In between all of the parties, there’s an abundance of amazing activities you can experience here on the island.
Ibiza is a place where there’s always something new to find and enjoy.
It’s a mix of mystery and exploration. With magic around every corner.
If you’re the adventurous type, then this blog is for you.
Here’s a list of fun things to get you out and about on land, and sea this season.
On the open water…
Kayaking
There’s a great sense of freedom when you are kayaking. Just heading off on your own journey out on the ocean. Getting yourself in those caves, and checking out the secluded coves and beaches. It’s a wonderful feeling. Plus imagine sunset sat in the middle of the water, just taking everything in.
Heaven.
You can either rent these for yourself, or go on a guided tour. One of our favourite companies that offer this and much more are Ibiza Explorers.
Scuba Diving
If you’ve never experienced the underwater-wonders of the Mediterranean before, then you cannot miss the opportunity whilst you’re here. The diverse and vibrant collection of marine life will have you mesmerised from the second you enter into the blue.
With normally clear visibility, you’ll be able to take in the sheer beauty of what lies beneath.
It really is a humbling feeling, knowing that there’s so much more out there than we can imagine.
You can even do PADI courses too, a great idea if you’re looking to take this seriously.
Scuba diving is a truly memorable experience, one which you’ll cherish for years to come.
Paddle Boarding
Life is all about balance, and this applies to paddle boarding too. If you haven’t got any then there’s a high chance you’ll spend most of the time in the water.
But either way, it’s a fun activity for those wanting to do something different with their day.
Paddle boarding (or SUP) has become increasingly popular over the years.
Not only does it offer great exercise, it’s good if you fancy a bit of ‘me time’ too. Taking in those epic views, and feeling the warm summer breeze on your skin.
What’s not to love about that?
Boat Charters
Imagine a day on your own private boat, cruising to numerous beaches and coves. Jumping into the warm waters for a swim, snorkelling, jet skiing and paddle boarding.
It’s an experience that differs to your average boat trip, as there’s only your captain and your chosen group on board.
You can listen to your own music on the installed bluetooth-speakers, whilst enjoying the drinks that are all-inclusive with your trip. You can even stop off for lunch at a pretty beachside restaurant, before heading back to your charter to continue your afternoon.
Morning, afternoon, sunset and full day trips (including Formentera) are available. To book simply contact ARC IBIZA.
Land Explorer…
E-Biking
If you’d prefer to stay on solid ground then why not hire an e-bike for the afternoon?
It can be a bit steep here in many places, so there’s nothing wrong with accepting a helping ‘hand’, to get you on your way.
Bike Ibiza offers both ‘diy’ bike rental, and guided tours across the island. With experiences around and towards Formentera, Santa Eulalia, Es Vedra and more.
Immerse yourself in your surroundings. Maybe stop off for a coffee, before riding along the golden coastline afterwards.
You won’t regret it.
Walking Tours
Whether you’re after a relaxing stroll or a full-on scenic climb. Walking on this beautiful island is something to be enjoyed.
From steep hikes up (and down) cliffs by Sa Pedrera (‘Atlantis‘), to taking a lazy stroll through the cobbled, winding streets of Dalt Vila.
There’s so many great routes available, plus numerous parts to explore that are more ‘off the beaten track’.
You can go it alone, or you can opt for a guided tour by an experienced company, such as Ibiza Outdoors.
Quad Biking
Action-packed fun for all. Perfect for the outdoorsy types, who are seeking some fun in the sun.
The uneven terrain and beautiful weather, makes for an energetic and exhilarating day out.
Embrace your natural surroundings, take in the smell of the pine trees and go wherever your heart desires.
Remember, you cannot drive this on the motorway. But that’s even more of an excuse to head off on your own adventure off-road.
So what better way to enjoy your afternoon, than by renting your own quad bike for the day?
Which ones will you add to your list for your upcoming Ibiza getaway?
