There’s no doubt about it, Radio 1 is by far one of the biggest events on the island.
The three-day celebration has brought a whole host of highly acclaimed musical talent to Ibiza since it first began in 95′, and it continues to be a huge favourite with dance music fans, year after year.
This weekend is set to be on of the best to date.
Tonight, San Antonio‘s number one spot Eden, will be hosting the Defected-Radio 1 special. With their state-of-the-art sound system, and a stellar list of acts in the booth.
Expect roof-raising sets from DJs such as Danny Howard, Chiacago-born John Summit, LP Giobbi, Arielle Free and Jansons.
This party is the start of what is set to be a weekend to remember, on the white isle for summer 2022.
Tomorrow the Radio 1 crew head over to Ushuaïa, for the underground extravaganza that is Ants. The line up for this is truly outstanding.
With a B2B set from Andrea Oliva (All I Need) & Barnsley’s favourite house DJ Hot Since 82.
If that’s not enough to tickle your fancy, then the one and only Mr Pete Tong will also be taking to the stage.
A true veteran in the game, Pete is also one of Radio 1‘s longest standing artists. Previously hosting his ‘Essential Selection‘ which started in 91’, the producer is a household name, and has won numerous awards for his contribution to the music industry over the years.
Exemplary duo Andy Cato and Tom Findlay (aka Groove Armada) will also be in attendance, along with Monki and Jamie Roy.
Ants always delivers, and we have no doubt that tomorrow will be no exception.
If you’re still in the mood for a party on Sunday then Ibiza Rocks is where its at.
Industry pioneer Fatboy Slim will be entertaining the daytime crowd, for a pool party to remember from 2pm.
Norman Cook needs little introduction, and his sets (plus second-to-none energy) truly speaks volumes (pun intended) each and every time.
Grab a cocktail, your best swimwear and dance under the summer sun. For an afternoon of fun, frolocking and Fatboy, you know where to go.
Now is the time to grab a quick bite to eat, shower and then head straight over to San Rafael. Why? Because world-famous super club Amnesia will be hosting their unforgettable night Pyramid, this time – especially for Radio 1.
The one-and-only Adam Beyer will be headlining, alongside Cristoph, Mar-T, Raxon and Sarah Story.
In the Main room you can find London-born, Berlin-based Techno DJ and producer Dax J, alongside Anna Reusch. There will also be a (no-doubt memorable) B2B set from Sam Paganini and Marco Farone.
That’ll keep you busy til the sun comes up!
