It’s official! The speakers and artists involved with this summer’s International Music Summit (IMS) have been announced. For those that may not be so familiar, IMS is a music focused conference that takes place at the Hard Rock Hotel in Ibiza. It brings together the best in the music business to provide an insight into the industry, showcase new trends and debate current hot topics – all of which led by highly regarded figures in the industry. The event takes place over three days from Wednesday 25th May until Friday 27th May with a celebratory show closing the event on Friday night at the Dalt Villa. The day time events include matserclasses, networking sessions and conferences allowing those taking part to have an active contribution by allowing questions and an open floor debate. So far 20 artists and 20 industry speakers have been confirmed including The Pet Shop Boys, Richie Hawtin, Seth Troxler, Carl Cox, Tale of Us and Pete Tong just to name a few. Representatives from Crowdmix, Space, Warner, Ushuaia, AFEM, R&S Records and Tracksource will be on the panel promising influential expert opinion and debate. It’s a great start to the summer allowing an insight to the trends and forecasts to the dance music industry.
