With penultimate blog of the 2023 season, comes a look back on the highlights of the summer. And what a summer it’s been.

We’ve sang, we’ve danced, we’ve laughed, we’ve ate, and probably overindulged a bit too much. But it was worth every second.

As we’re very quickly coming to the end shortly, we take a little look back at some of the best parties that took place on the island this summer.

Elrow

With parties at Amnesia and three dates at Ushuaïa, the wacky and wonderful extravaganza that is Elrow has been the highlight for thousands of revellers this season. It’s brought people from all walks of life together, to enjoy the colourful and totally OTT shenanigans that have gone down throughout the duration.

The grand-finale takes place tomorrow night at Amnesia, where techno legend Adam Beyer will take the helm, doing what he does best. The line-up also includes: Bastian Bux, Joris VoornSarah Story and Toni VargaIlario Alicante will be playing non-stop in the Main Room. Tickets are available from our outlets.

Kevin and Perry Experience

On Tuesday 26th September the party returned to the island, for aNOTHER one-off night of epic trance classics at Amnesia. The night was by far, one of the best on the white isle to date. Each year the guys from One More Time outdo themselves ten-fold. And this week proved it again.

Lange played a set that gave revellers goosebumps. Especially when his ‘Follow Me‘ tune from the 2000 hit-movie travelled beautifully throughout the club.

Seb Fontaine went B2B with Tall Paul which tore the roof off.

Dave Pearce, the ITE DJs, SASH!, Slipmatt, Rob Tissera B2B Dale Castell, Sean Hughes and others all put on a world-class show.

The closing set from Vicky Devine was her best yet, and boy did she pull it out the bag.

We already can’t wait to see if it returns again next year.

The wonderfully-eccentric Australian has pulled out all the stops this year, with his residency at in Playa d’en Bossa.
With a production like no other, and his energetic sets, Wednesdays have been the place to be throughout the summer.
Supporting his nights have been a team of well-respected artists, including Andrea Oliva, Nic Fanciulli, Solardo, Chris Lake, Joseph Capriati and many, many more.
The closing party this week saw the club packed-out yet again to celebrate in style.

Michal Bibi’s Solid Grooves comeback

Yesterday was a historical moment for the music industry. As Solid Grooves founder Michael Bibi made a surprise appearance at DC10, after his recent battle with cancer.

The weekly parties have been highly popular with the younger tech-head crowd.

Bringing people in their thousands to enjoy those heavy-beats, from one of the most famous clubs on the island.

Whilst Micheal hasn’t been able to attend as of late due to his treatment, his return last night was the talk of the island amongst fans.

Shine

Paul Van Dyk has shown no signs of slowing down this season, with his highly-acclaimed Thursday-nights at Eden.

Shine has been a firm-favourite for harder Trance-fans of all ages.

Offering older-ravers a chance to enjoy a mixture of newer, more progressive tracks, and a selection of those ever-memorable classics for the ultimate reminiscing.

It also introduced newcomers not only to the island, but the genre in general, to a sound that has been a staple for the dance-music industry for over two decades.

The closing party last night was nothing short of exceptional.

PVD packed the dance floor, with a high-energy, 6 hour marathon solo set.

Swedish House Mafia

On the 23rd July, the legendary-trio returned to the famous beach-club in Playa d’en Bossa, for a one-off show for their adoring fans.

Although they ‘retired’ in 2013 and stayed away from the limelight for some time, their comeback in 2019 created a storm.

With high demand for them to return again in 2022, it only made sense for the guys to do yet another show this year.

The 7000person capacity venue sold out. And for all those who attended, it was an experience that will stay with them for a lifetime.

Clockwork Orange

The annual old-skool event took place once again, over 6 days in July.

With events at Cova Santa, Tanit, three boat parties, Cafe del Mar, Es Paradis and more venues on the island.

With the highlight being held at Recinto de Ferial venue near Ibiza Town, with Clockwork’s 30 Piece Classical Orchestra.

With a huge list of DJs covering these events, including Roger SanchezMark KnightGok WanDJ Pippi, Tall Paul and many more.

It really showed the stamina and sheer passion for clubbing how it used to be here in all its glory.

Clockwork Orang

There has been many amazing moments this season, it would be impossible to name them all. But these are the ones we think make the list of some of the best to celebrate Ibiza 2023.
