Here’s the low down on some of the best parties to get to this August!

Calvin Harris – Ushuaïa

The lovable Scotsman has managed to pack out the famous beach club in Playa d’en Bossa on Fridays every week. It’s an event that’s been so popular, It always sells out. With support from the one and only MK, it’s no wonder that people are literally queuing up to get tickets in advance. An outside, open-air party experience, that promises good music and electric vibes until late. Alongside the boys you can catch sets from the likes of John Summit, Tyson O’Brien and more.

Afterlife – Hï

The Best Club in the World‘ for the second year, no doubt hosts some of the greatest parties to match. And Afterlife is one of them. Italian-duo Tale of Us have truly created something special with this iconic event. It’s been staple of clubbing culture since 2016. And with the most breathtaking production and visuals at the Playa d’en Bossa hot spot, it’s an event that you have to go to at least once in your lifetime. Melodic-techno heaven is the only way to describe it. A remarkable night of musical bliss, and the place to be on a Thursday night.

tINI and the Gang – Underground

One of the clubs that’s never been on the list when naming the big parties is Underground.
The reason for it is all in the name.
But don’t be fooled by their somewhat ‘low key’ attitude to promoting. They’ve been a firm favourite on the clubbing scene here since 2001. It’s a venue that lets the music speak. And boy does it speak.
It’s a place that isn’t saturated in VIP culture, nor do you need take out a bank loan to attend. If you know your music then you’ve most probably heard of tINI. The German DJ and producer has been a staple within the music industry for over two decades, and her passion for techno and party-starting has made her a house hold name ever since.
You can catch tINI and her ‘gang’ here on Tuesdays.

Earthreal – Akasha

Located at the famous Las Dalias in San Carlos, the relatively new club Akasha has hosted some pretty spectacular parties here since opening in 2021. A sanctuary for island lovers, in search of unforgettable music, away from the madding crowd. Its surroundings are rich in history, and the sounds welcomed are always magical.

One of those events is Earthreal. A polar-opposite to Ibiza-mainstream clubbing culture, bringing art and music together as one.

With tribal influences and support for local DJs, it’s a party that captures the true spirit and hedonism of what the island is recognised for.

A weekly occurrence on a Friday, but it’s one that’s not to be missed.
